Kaka Is A Real Madrid Player - Spanish Press

AS, Marca and a reputable radio station in Madrid have called it a done deal...
The Spanish press are in no doubt that Kaka is now a Real Madrid player.

The Blancos have agreed a €65m fee with Milan for the Brazilian, according to Cadena SER radio station. Marca and AS are among a host of other publications reporting the same deal.

The Brazilian has been linked with a move to the Spanish giants for years, but with former president Florentino Perez once again taking control this week, speculation has reached fever pitch.

Now, sources in Spain report that the conditions have been agreed, and Cadena SER asserts that the €65m price tag is agreed by all parties.

All that remains now are some personal matters to attend to with Kaka, who is set to earn €9m a year (€175,000 a week) for the next five seasons.

The 27-year-old is on international duty as Brazil prepare to take on Uruguay this weekend, meaning that he cannot be present to physically sign a deal in Madrid for now.

Real Madrid Empty 1st Galacticos

Post  Deto_8 Tue Jun 09, 2009 9:27 am

It is finally official. Kaká is a Real Madrid player, and Floretino Perez' first signing as president. AC Milan has officially announced the deal on their website, though Real hasn't as their site seems to be down at the moment.

UPDATE: Real's website is online again and has announced the deal as well.

"Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite, Kaka, is a Real Madrid player after an agreement was reached with AC Milan. The Brazilian footballer has now successfully passed all medical tests. Kaka has signed a contract with Real Madrid for the next six seasons." Realmadrid.com said,

Kaká has signed a six-year contract and will earn €9,120,000 a year at the Santiago Bernabeu. As expected, he'll wear the famous number "5" shirt previously worn by legends Fabio Cannavaro and Zinedine Zidane.
The signing process has taken so long due to some highjacking from Chelsea, hesitation from the player, and greed from his father and agent who wanted a higher comission, but it is good that it is over.

Kaká will defintely improve our midfield. He has a great vision and is a team player. His role will primarily be as an attacking midfielder or second striker. His arrival will mean that Van der vaart, Sneijder and Guti will all be second choices. This could ease the arrival of Franck Ribery in Madrid. Bayern are excited about the idea of getting Sneijder and another Dutch in exchange for the French international.

Kaká's arrival could also mean that Cristiano Ronaldo might not be needed. The club has denied that there is a pre-agreemnt with the Manchester United winger, even though many sources claim that THERE is one and If Real don't sign him by the end of June, they'll have to pay him compensations (and If Ronaldo backs-off from the deal, he'll have to pay us as well).

This has been our first target so far. Next is Franck Ribery and then comes Villa and Silva. I wonder If Perez will sign defenders this season or he'll fall in the Zidanes y Pavons trap again?

Real Madrid Empty Re: Real Madrid

Real Madrid Empty Why Kaka's £56m move from AC Milan to Real Madrid is not a world record

Post  Deto_8 Tue Jun 09, 2009 11:06 pm

When is a world record not a world record?

Answer: when exchange rates come into play.
Kaka's eye-watering £56million transfer from AC Milan to Real Madrid has been trumpeted by English media as the biggest fee paid in the history of football - topping the £47m Madrid paid to Juventus for Zinedine Zidane in 2001.
But the rest of the world calls it just the second-highest purchase.

The plumetting value of the pound is to blame. Zidane actually cost Madrid 73.5m euros when you could get about 1.65 euros to the pound, while the deal for Kaka is worth a measly 65m euros, with the exchange rate less than

Real Madrid terus buru bintang dunia

"Saya mahu kekal tetapi krisis kewangan dunia menjejaskan keputusan saya.

Real Madrid Empty Barcelona Finance Chief: I Don't Know Where Real Madrid Find The Money

Post  Deto_8 Fri Jun 12, 2009 12:02 am

Barcelona's economic director is mystified how Real Madrid are able to spend so much money on players and has called on Florentino Perez to reveal where it is all coming from.

Xavier Sala i Martin does not understand how a club that have previously admitted to having huge debts already can suddenly gain access to the huge sums they are now spending.

Kaka and Ronaldo have both been signed for a total of almost €160 million and the Barca financial chief does not believe that can be regained simply through commercialising the pair.

"I do not know where the €300 million that Florentino Perez thinks he has for signings actually comes from," Sala i Martin told radio station, RAC1.

"He says he will recoup it by selling replica shirts and so he will have to sell 30 million of them. That is impossible.

"Someone is going to have give them money and it would be good if he explained it.

"How can it be that a football club has so much money to spend, bearing in mind the current economic situation in the country and the politics of credit restriction in place in all banks.

"If the money does not come from his own business, then it will come from a property developer."

Following president Joan Laporta's line, Sala i Martin goaded Madrid by stating that the Catalan club would never have to resort to such risky tactics to buy success.

"I can assure you that we will not pay €65 million for one player. For that price we could buy the whole team that won the Champions League in Rome," he added.

Real Madrid Empty David Villa Will Sign For Real Madrid - Chelsea's Chief Spanish Scout

Post  Deto_8 Fri Jun 12, 2009 12:06 am

Real Madrid are on the brink of signing David Villa from Valencia after Chelsea were told that they had no chance of signing him, according to the Blues' Spanish scout

Juan Cruz Sol is the English team's representative in Spain and he stated that Chelsea have been given a firm "no" to their offer for the player because the Mestalla club are "in advanced negotiations with Real Madrid".

The former Valencia and Madrid player confirmed that the Blues "had made an important offer for him", but he insisted that it was not for €48 million as has been reported.

"Villa wants to go to Real Madrid" and things are "well advanced" meaning that Chelsea "recognise that and are waiting to see what happens".

"He wants to join Madrid because he wants to stay in Spain and that is normal.

"There is no chance of Villa going to Chelsea because he wants to now go to Madrid," he said according to Marca.

Valencia had insisted that €35 million for their striker would not be enough and reports in the Spanish media that Madrid had agreed to add Alvaro Negredo to the deal appear to be true.

Real Madrid have already signed Kaka and have had a bid for Cristiano Ronaldo accepted, so the capture of Villa could make it a huge week for the Bernabeu-based outfit.

I Will Continue To Love AC Milan - Real Madrid Maestro Kaka

Real Madrid 50363
Despite having moved to Real Madrid, Kaka still holds the Rossoneri close to his heart...
Real Madrid forward Ricardo Kaka does not forget too easily those who loved him and helped him during the past six years.

In fact, the player declared that AC Milan will always be in his heart, even though he now wants to focus on his career with the Merengues.

"I'm very grateful to Milan," explained the Brazilian star to Eurosport.it. "If today I'm an internationally known player I owe it to the Rossoneri, together with the Brazilian national team.

"I'm sorry about what happened with Milan, but now I must be aware of the fact that my future will be with the Merengues and that my professional rapport with the Rossoneri is over.

"I hope that Milan can do many things with the new coach Leonardo, whom I wish the best of luck. I will always continue to love the Rossoneri colours."

Kaka is currently taking part in the Confederations Cup and will be hoping to win the trophy in this World Cup warm-up.

Real Madrid Empty Caja Madrid Grants €76.6 Million Loan To Real Madrid - Report

Post  Deto_8 Tue Jun 16, 2009 2:29 pm

Ever since Real Madrid officially tabled a €94 million offer to Manchester United for Cristiano Ronaldo, the football world has gone into a head-spin as questions have arisen as to how president Florentino Perez managed to access such exorbitant funds in these times of economic struggle.

Ex-supremo Ramon Calderon recently revealed that the club already had €90 million-plus sitting in the bank waiting for Perez to spend, but with the ‘White House’ about to part with €160 million for just two players, many are still wondering how much they will have left to reinforce the rest of the squad.

That issue has been solved after AS reported that Spain’s fourth largest financial institution, Caja Madrid, has just granted Los Blancos a massive €76.6 million loan.

The bank’s Council of Administration yesterday analysed the agreement after members of the organisation and the Loans Commission gave their approval for the investment.

According to the Madrid-based newspaper, the loan will be guaranteed on the back of the €600 million revenue the club will receive from Mediapro, the company which currently owns the their television and broadcast rights.

With the loan in place, Madrid could launch another assault for Valencia’s David Villa, or begin negotiations for Franck Ribery, who has already declared that he would like a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Kaka Receives Squad Number 8 At Real Madrid

The Brazilian legend takes the number 8 shirt...

Real Madrid 51240_news

30 Jun 2009 19:57:56

Over 40,000 fans packed into the Santiago Bernabeu this evening to see the arrival of one man at Real Madrid, and it is fair to say they did not seem disappointed.

Kaka's first appearance as a Madrid player in the White House was an occasion that grew louder and louder as the evening went on.

The opening words from Florentino Perez greeting the Brazilian to the club caused quite a stir, but that was soon overtaken as the former AC Milan man himself walked up onto the stage, applauding all the way.

Even then as he stood and smiled as Perez continued to talk, the fans cheered and chanted, and only finally came to a hush when Kaka took charge of the microphone.

"Thank you president, good evening to all Madridistas. This is very special for me. I'm very happy to take my career here to Real Madrid," he began.

"There is nothing comparable to the history of this club. Hala Madrid!"

The final two words were greeted with the loudest roar of the evening and even when minutes later he was handed his top with the number eight on, the fans were still singing his name.

A quick lap around the stadium slapping hands with the hands and applauding them was a fitting end to the evening before he wandered back down the tunnel with his number clear for all to see.

In recent times the '8' jersey has been worn by Steve McManaman, Michel, Ruben and last year by Fernando Gago.

As Jorge Valdano, Real Madrid director explained, the decision does not mean Gago is leaving, just he is changing number too.

"I want to clear up the reason why he has been given the number 8 jersey. As you know, numbers 5, 18 and 9 were not assigned. We knew that Fernando Gago wanted to wear the no. 5 - that is something that us Argentinians understand very well, it's a very special number for us. So we gave Kaka the number 8, which he was very happy to have," he mused.

"So for the first time at Real Madrid, we made two people happy at the very same time."

June 1-8, 2009 - Daily news reports in Spain continually insist that Kaka will sign for Madrid and that he will be presented on Monday June 8. Madrid technical director Zinedine Zidane goes as far as to say that the Brazilian has already signed. 'Saya bernilai RM456.7 juta'

- Agensi
